Fixed Term Teaching Assistant
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support with the education of a pupil with additional funding, working alongside teachers to plan and deliver episodes of learning. We seek an enthusiastic, caring and flexible individual to work closely with this child and within the wider school. The post involves supporting the pupil, in and out of the classroom, so a willingness to work in a range of learning environments is essential. This role will require the TA to support them to access their education at both Orchard Manor School and another school with in Torbay. This post is 30.83 hours per week for 39 weeks per annum. This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months and linked to specific funding.
Experience of working with children who have autism or complex needs would be an advantage.
Driving is an essential aspect of this role.

Salary: Grade D Scale Points 18-22 £18,870 - £21,074 pro rata. Actual salary £13,346 - £14,905
