Welcome Back!  We hope all our pupils, families and staff have enjoyed a wonderful summer break and taken the opportunity to relax, have fun and make some special memories. It has been fantastic to welcome everyone back to Orchard Manor School and see our classrooms and corridors filled once again with smiling faces, laughter and excitement for the year ahead.

The start of a new school year is always a time of fresh opportunities, new experiences and important milestones. As a school, we are constantly reflecting on how we can provide the very best learning experiences for every pupil, ensuring they are supported to thrive, develop independence and achieve their full potential.

This year, we are excited to introduce an important development to our curriculum: our Developmental Anchors. Building on the success of our Explore, Discovery and Investigate Learning Pathways, the Anchors will help us make even stronger connections between pupils' EHCP outcomes, personalised learning goals and everyday learning experiences.

Together, our Learning Pathways, Developmental Anchors and Personalised Learning Goals will ensure that every pupil continues to receive an ambitious, meaningful and highly personalised curriculum that prepares them for success both in school and beyond.
