Professional Assistant to Chief Executive Officer

Are you an innovative, dynamic person who wants to make a positive difference to SEND children and their families across Cornwall & Devon? We are seeking a confident, sociable and motivated candidate to join a well-established, friendly and specialist Trust team.  You will be an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) and have the ability to communicate with a wide range of people at all levels. You will understand the importance of confidential and accurate record keeping as the Trust enters an exciting period of development and growth.

Start Date: asap Salary: £26,350 - £29, 350 FTE (pro-rata to working hours)

Location: The Special Partnership Trust Office, Pencalenick, School, Truro (although the successful candidate may work at other school sites within the Trust from time to time)

Contract type: 37 hrs per week 42 weeks per year (Term time, INSET plus 3 weeks. Hours to be negotiated)

Contract term: Permanent

The job involves supporting the Trust Senior Leadership Team, and the successful candidate will also be expected to maintain effective working relationships with Multi-disciplinary Teams, School leadership, School and Trust staff, Trustees, Governors and partners.

You will need to be extremely organised, an excellent communicator and forward thinking in your approach. No two days are the same, so you will need to be able to think clearly in a fast paced, busy environment, prioritise work, and show initiative.

The role may involve travelling to other sites to work with school leaders. Candidates will need to have an excellent working knowledge of MS Office systems, as you will be required to format presentations and accurately capture strategic and operational records of Trust intent, implementation and impact.
