HTLA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) With Supervisory Responsibilities
We are recruiting for a HLTA, to provide support pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with pupils on a one to one basis, and has experience of working with children who have autism or complex needs.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the teaching staff and Assistant Headteachers, within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individual pupils, in or out of the classroom. This will involve managing and preparing resources, and supervising individual pupils. The role will also involve responding to questions and assist pupils in undertaking set activities.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
Working hours are 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum.
Salary: £25,500 per annum pro rata (£19,438.08 Actual Salary)
