Speech and Language Therapy Assistant

We are looking for a permanent Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) Assistant.  This role will require the post holder to support the SALT Therapist with the development of speech and language skills across the school.  They will support pupils’ communication and interaction needs; design and produce resources for use with individuals or groups and organise and deliver sessions and individual plans to support development and progress. The ability to make resources for developing pupil total communication skills and other resources involving technology would be an advantage.  Experience of working with children who have autism or complex needs would be an advantage.

Post Number:  22.43

The post is 30.83 hours per week for 39 weeks per annum.

Salary:  £20,092 – £22,183 per annum pro rata (dependent on experience)
