Senior Permanent Teaching Assistant


We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our Learning Support Team. The role would involve working with reluctant learners with SEND to engage with learning opportunities in and out of the classroom. You will be required to work with individuals and small groups of pupils of varying ages and abilities both on and off site. Driving school cars is a requirement of this post and applicants should hold a current UK driving licence. A willingness to undertake a mini bus driving course and test would be an advantage. The post is 30.83 hours per week for 39 weeks per annum.

Experience of working with children who have autism or complex needs would be an advantage.

Salary:  Grade D Scale Points 18 – 22 £18,870 - £21,074 pro rata. Actual salary £13,348 - £14,907.
